Massage has been around as long as humanity and essentially this therapy boosts the body's own health processes. Through improving the circulation of blood, stimulating weak muscles and relieving muscle tension , massage can increase general physical condition and vitality.

Massage can be used simply to sooth and to help you to relax, or for treating specific soft-tissue injuries, such as sprains, repetitive stress and a number of other sports injuries. Types of massage available at Oasis include:

• Holistic and aromatherapy: the classic if you want a deep relaxing experience with a traditional oil massage
• Sports or deep tissue: ideal if you have tight muscles or are training hard
• Thai-Yoga: an ancient type of massage, practiced fully clothed, for a deep relaxing and stretching experience
• Lomi-Lomi: a traditional Hawaiian massage using flowing strokes to help connecting with the inner soul, relieve stress and clear emotional blockages
• Head massage: a de-stressing and relaxing massage performed on the head, neck and shoulders, especially useful for those who suffer headaches, neck tension and emotional stress
• Reflexology: threats the whole person, particularly the weak or ill areas, by using pressure on specific areas of the feet
